Baseball Room Headboard

Well, thanks to my wonderful PawPaw, Lucas' baseball headboard is finished! It is too cute for words. See for yourself:It took me forever to find just the five bats I found for free. So I asked him to cut them in half so it looked like we had ten. He used rough cut lumber for the 4x4 posts and the 1x6 boards. I glued old baseballs on the top of the posts and Ta Da!

where did you find all the bats? I want to do something like this, but don't want to pay full price. patience, I guess?

Nicole said...

Yes, unfortunately, patience. It took me forever to collect 5 bats and I had everyone on the lookout for them.

Where did you find all of the bats? I am making something for my boyfriend's birthday and have been looking everywhere for 6-7 adult size wood bats!

How did he attach the bats to the wood? Thanks!

What kind of glue did you use?
